Eastern backgammon is the most ancient game of fortune and skill. The game's history began more than five thousand years ago. It is very popular in Near East and in Central Asia.
RULES
Every turn starts by throwing the dice. That is done automatically by the game. A player moves his pieces according to the number on the dice. A player may move one piece the whole of their turn, or move seperate pieces. If a player throws a double, meaning the same number on both dice, then they move the number shown on one die four times. The player has the option of moving one piece, or seperate pieces.
The pieces move in a counter-clockwise direction(as shown on a picture).
A board position is considered blocked if one or more opposing pieces are sitting at that position. The first player to remove all of his pieces to the "yard" wins the game. A player can not remove pieces until all of his pieces are at "home" (see the picture). A player can remove pieces by moving the amount on the die roll greater than the number of board positions remaining.
